Prerna Maynil Joshi

I identify as a bibliophile and a social media enthusiast! With diverse experience in social media marketing in sectors like entertainment, cosmetics, literature and more, I have found the pulse of social media marketing in multiple domains. With a research and data-driven approach, I craft social media strategies that are relevant, unique, and engaging! My core strength also lies in copywriting and brochure design. 

My curiosity in social media marketing led me to have experiences in different sectors and gain knowledge of each of them. I worked in Times Network where I handled their online channels Zoom TV, Times Now Foodie, Telly Talk India and Times Now Navbharat. Their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat forums were the core platforms on which I posted content regularly whilst also ideating for its content.

The cinephile in me led me to Eros International, where I worked in the social media marketing domain for their AVOD OTT platform Mzaalo. I leveraged its extensive Bollywood library to amplify the platform over social media platforms. I ideated their monthly content & and made monthly analytics reports. The role of doing content research & and ideation sharpened my skills in understanding how the entertainment sector marketing works.

In 2020, I worked with Digitalise, an agency based in Mumbai whose core client was Bharat Floorings & Tiles (BFT). For BFT, I made a monthly social media calendar, regularly posting on Facebook & Instagram, blog articles, weekly & monthly analysis reports, etc. Apart from BFT, I also handled the social media profiles of Happiness Deli and

Great White Electricals.

I have closely worked with Author Amish Tripathi. I handled his Editorial work, PR activities for various events, interviews, etc., social media ideation for content decks and online marketing, and helped him develop business strategies for merchandising.

I have gained experience and knowledge in campaign management as I worked with Social Konnekt for the brand Vicco Turmeric for their campaign #GoBlue which was designed for the Indian Cricket Team for the Champions Trophy.

My interest in communication studies led me to Symbiosis Institute Of Media & Communication, wherein I did my MA in Audio-Visual Communication which helped me hone my skills in video production and scriptwriting. I learnt communication strategies which benefitted my career. I also interned as a Production Assistant with Aamir Khan Productions for their film Dangal as a student here.
